Avocado brownies are healthy, sweet pieces of delicate and fudgy deliciousness! Super easy to make just with a few basic ingredients from your kitchen!
vocado is one of those fruits, that tastes marvelous in both sweet and savory version. I love it, and east it almost everyday on toast with some smoked paprika and red onions. When I stumbled upon some sweet avo recipes, I simply couldn't resist!
So here it is: avo brownie! Tastes great, doesn't contain any additional oils, and basically all you need are two ripe avos :)
Avocado brownies recipe
Preheat oven to 180C. Prepare 20x20cm baking pan and cover the bottom with baking sheet.
Place chocolate chips in microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, remove, and stir. Continue microwaving in 30 second intervals, stirring after, until completely smooth. Let cool slightly. You can also melt your chocolate using the double boiler method: place the bowl with chocolate over the pan with boiling water and stir the chocolate until melted.
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat together the avocados and sugar until creamy. Beat in cooled chocolate. Beat in eggs, one at a time; beat in vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Slowly add the flour mixture to the chocolate mixture and beat until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Using teaspoon, place peanut butter dots on your cake and "draw" patterns using a toothpick.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack before cutting.
