I 's the high time to start Christmas baking! I really don't like leaving anything to the last moment, and lucky for everyone, christmas treats are recommended to be baked weeks ahead :)
Because of the high content of honey, cookies get hard after baking, but they will soften over time, just for the Christmas, if you bake it now :D
They can be stored in a cookie tin for months. To make them soft faster, place an apple peel in the container and change it after 3-4 days, until your gingerbreads are soft.
Decorate them with roayl icing from my previous recipe for beautiful, firm finish, and no cracks.
